Health warning labels (HWLs) are highly effective in conveying the health risks associated with tobacco use, and regular rotation is essential for maintaining their relevance and impact. But what challenges might countries encounter on their path to HWL rotation implementation?

Researchers from the Institute for Global Tobacco Control interviewed policymakers and tobacco control advocates in different parts of the world to gain a deeper understanding of the processes and obstacles involved with implementing HWL rotation. The resulting analysis compiles valuable insights into HWL practices and provides research-based recommendations for policymakers and international/regional organizations that could have a substantial, positive impact on HWL rotation implementation moving forward.
