Amidst increased e-cigarette use prevalence in the Philippines, IGTC conducted an online survey of Filipino adults who smoke to examine e-cigarette awareness, use patterns, and reasons for e-cigarette use.

Using the TPackSS systematic protocol, cigarette and kretek packs were purchased across three cities in Indonesia (Jakarta, Medan, and Surabaya) during September 2022. 

In China, tobacco sales are prohibited near schools, although a distance is not specified in the national law. Tobacco advertising at the point of sale is banned.
