Policy Summary:

Law 28/2005 on health measures against smoking and regulating the sale, supply, consumption and advertising of tobacco products bans the sale of ENDS or similar products to minors (under 18 years). To protect minors, advertising/promotion/sponsorship restrictions regulate type of programs and time of the day advertisements can be shown on media. Use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in certain public places (public administration, healthcare, and educational settings, children playgrounds and public transportation). Regulations that transpose the EU Tobacco Products Directive are being developed.
